The Mancomunitat de l’Horta Sud has set up the working group for the implementation of the European On-off project for the prevention of violence against women. This organization will be in charge of planning the implementation strategy of the project throughout the region and has representatives from the municipalities and the Mancomunitat itself.
The On-off Project is financed entirely by European funds and is the first program received by the Mancomunitat de l’Horta Sud after the creation of its commission for European affairs. The objective of the initiative is the prevention of violence against women on the Internet by developing on and off models with activities aimed at raising awareness about certain behaviors on the Internet and showing new behaviors and positive social values as an alternative.
